I can not writing the flash for Kasli device

We have purchased a Kasli control system from m-labs. I am very new with the language, I am sorry in advance if the question is trivial. I have been following the documentation on the website., and I am at "writing the flash"step, where I should compile:

artiq_flash -V [your system variant]

How could I find my system variant? In the USB key arrived with the product there was the file device_db.py, inside there is a description line saying "for variant xxx", I tried that name but it still couldn't find the variant

Hi. Did you install the board support package (artiq-board-xxx)? Also your system was already flashed, as the manual says:

If you have purchased a pre-assembled system from M-Labs or QUARTIQ, the gateware and firmware are already flashed and you can skip those steps, unless you want to replace them with a different version of ARTIQ.

There have been no protocol-breaking changes on the release-5 branch, so in this case it's actually safe to ignore this warning. You may still reflash if it bothers you.

This error doesn't have to do with variants, but looks like Windows USB driver problems. Did you install and configure Zadig as specified in the manual?

I followed the installation and did install Zadig, but I did it again today and make sure to install for every of my Quad-RS232 HS port (I do not have any Digilent Adept USB Device on the list), and it still give me the same error

I just want to let you know that I got the same error while previously installed on Nix (Linux) as well, even after having the openocd copy into the udev

I also want to ask about something else. While I follow line by line the installation on Nix and did exactly what is said on the installation guide, there is another problem with the jedi and spyder versions, I installed them separately but I am not sure it works... Maybe that is why my artiq_run ran and did not give any error apart from the mismatch version but I did not see any signal from the device

There are two separate flashing issues:

LIBUSB_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED which looks like a Windows driver problem.
top.bit not found, which is probably due to the artiq-board-kasli-oklahoma package not being installed correctly or at all. For Nix, the simplest way is to use a nix-shell file as indicated in the manual; board packages are currently a bit difficult to install correctly with nix-env.

Spyder is not necessary, the snippet in the manual just an example of how to install it. Just remove the spyder line if it causes problems.

Edit: Sorry it was all my error! It works now, I installed the artiq board in base environment not artiq env, that's why it didn't work. Thank you very much for your reply!
