Hello everyone,
I plan to use Stabilizer + Pounder + Urukul-AD9910 to create a saturated absorption frequency stabilization system. Below is my saturated absorption optical path and the general scheme I intend to use, but I have doubts about the functions of Stabilizer and Pounder.
Before posting this, I searched for relevant articles on using Stabilizer + Pounder for locking frequency on the forum. However, I didn't understand them. I referred to #995 and #10586, but still couldn't figure out how they work.
- In the Stabilizer, ADC0 and DAC0 are a pair of output ports. In the email I sent to the company, I wrote the following: "The second attached picture shows the effect of input and output (ADC0, green and DAC0, fuchsia) when I set /gain/p = -2 and setpoint = 0, and feed a constant sine wave into ADC0. The output is -2 times the error signal with a short delay. (Shifted to positive because I previously set a non-zero /gain/i)" I tried inputting a signal with an amplitude of 2V and a frequency of 10Hz into ADC0. In DAC0, it would output a signal with an amplitude of 1V and a frequency of 10Hz. I'm not sure about the mechanism of this PID. I checked the principle of PID on the internet, but I still can't understand the relationship between this ADC0 and DAC0, or whether there is an error in my usage method.
- The linkage problem between stabilizer and pounder. Below is my MQTT control interface. I understand how to set this PID for stabilizer, but how to set these for pounder, what is the setting quantity, what is changed, and can you explain it to me? Thank you.
- Previously, I used Moku:Go for frequency stabilization. That one is a simple operation. I set my scheme according to the usage method of Moku:Go. Currently, the EOM modulation signal is provided by Urukul-AD9910, and then the PD signal returned through the saturated absorption optical path is input into IN0 of pounder. This signal needs to be demodulated by me or will it be automatically demodulated and produce an error signal when it is input into pounder's IN0? How should I adjust its phase and the settings of the low-pass filter? Where should I adjust it, and how should I select the desired zero point position and lock frequency?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
jim
