How to fit the data in ARTIQ during experimental run?

Normally we need to wait for the experimental sequence to finish, then import the data and fit it, but it takes a long time. I would like to listen to the experts' suggestions/ guidelines on how to get the data and fit simultaneously via a single click, please???

There is nothing that prevents you from re-running the fit at any time in your Experiment. You can also write custom applets that do whatever fitting at a time of your choosing.

To get "live" data during an experiment, you'll want to use mutate_dataset during the experiment. Be sure to initialize it beforehand and that the argument broadcast=True. Like this example from the manual.

I'd like to hear how and if people use artiq_browser for something like this.
