I'm trying to access the satellite logs through UART but I don't think I'm seeing the Kasli at all. I plug the Kasli to the PC via a microUSB cable. When I look at Zadig, I see no options similar to the devices that the manuals suggests should pop up (“FTDI Quad-RS232 HS” or “Digilent Adept USB Device (Interface 0)”).

To access the UART logs I'm trying to follow the directions from here: https://git.m-labs.hk/sinara-hw/assembly/src/branch/master/src/sw_sup/uart_logs.md

When I look in the device manager, I can click 'add legacy hardware' to find the 'PORTS (COM & LPT)' but nothing similar to a USB Serial Port pops up to install. If anyone's had problems like this help would be appreciated.

What version of windows are you using? I wrote these instructions for windows 10, and now wonder if they have changed something with windows 11...

Well, I tried the windows 11 (not official build, but tiny11), and it appeared to be working out-of-the-box.

When you plug in the Kasli, does any device pop up in the device manager at all (even unidentified/…)? Even if you didn't have the correct drivers installed, the Kasli should enumerate as something.

dpn looks like nothing happens at all. We tried both master and satellite, and even in the microsoft usbview there are no changes at all (from @RyanEverly reports). FT Prog also shows nothing.
Does it necessarily means that the boards are damaged? I'm quite doubtful about this, because both Kasli-SoC and Kasli are refusing to connect via USB.

Appeared to be a micro-USB cable problem. All cables that were tested before are charge-only cables.
