  • Cannot Ping 192.168.1.75 and SFP Port Light Not Illuminating

I am currently facing an issue with my ARTIQ device and would greatly appreciate any assistance from the community. I am unable to ping the device's IP address, and the SFP port light is not illuminated.
When I open the command prompt (on Windows)and enter ping 192.168.1.75, I receive the error message "Destination host unreachable."
Device is Kasli EEM contorller 1124

If the Ethernet light isn't illuminated, the device probably isn't connected at all. Check your cables and SFP adapters. See also the networking troubleshooting section of the manual.

architeuthis My serial port log does not show the IP. I can confirm that there is no problem with the cable. The serial port log is as shown in the figure below.

That's a DRTIO satellite. It doesn't have Ethernet.

sb10q My serial cable is connected to the Kasli. Only one COM port has serial output. What should the serial output look like? Currently, I have plugged in an SFP Ethernet cable, but the SFP indicator light is not on. I have tried replacing it with both Cat5 and Cat6 cables and also changing the SFP module, but the light still doesn't come on and I am unable to ping it.

      sb10q It doesn't have Ethernet.

So what do you expect? Different models of SFPs, Cat5 vs Cat6, etc. on something that does not have Ethernet is not going to make any difference.

Reflash it with a standalone or master firmware if you don't want to use it as a DRTIO satellite.

sb10q Oh, you mean the device comes with DRTIO firmware preinstalled instead of master firmware, which keeps the Ethernet port disabled. So I need to reflash the firmware via JTAG. Correct?
