Two issues encountered during the installation of artiq-8

Hello, I have purchased the Artiq Sinara Control System. I followed the instructions of artiq-8 for installation, and everything went smoothly until I opened the dashboard through artiq_dashboard. At this point, the first error occurred, which seemed to be related to moninj. The specific errors are as follows:

(1) The first issue tells you what the problem is in the first line. Is aqctl_moninj_proxy running? This is one of the ARTIQ utilities, in this case a provided proxy controller, see its manual entry here. You can ignore this error, as MonInj isn't actually documented in the manual (yet) and won't be used in the examples, or you can delete the proxy's entry from your device database so that your system doesn't expect it to be running, or you can start it, either with artiq_ctlmgr or on its own.
(2) ndecimals for NumberValue is deprecated. It's still supported, so that's not causing your error, but are you on the up-to-date version of the manual?

Are you saying that I can ignore it and it won't affect the running of my program.
(2) Sorry, I sent the wrong code to execute. The code I executed is from artiq-8:

Yes. As architeuthis said, ndecimals is deprecated in artiq-8. It has been replaced by precision.

For the record, the first message is unrelated -- evidently your rtioclock configuration is not set or set to an unrecognized value, so the default clocking setting is being used -- and the second message is the notification of a successful connection, so yes, assuming you're fine with the default clocking setting, these messages are normal.

It is missing a default value, you can write it as:

NumberValue(10, precision=0, step=1)

10 here as a sample default number value.

Thank you for your reply. I have also tried this and it can run normally. But the manual says, 'The dashboard should now display a spin box that allows you to set the value of the count argument. Try submitting the experiment as before.' I can't find my spinning box on my dashboard
