Assuming money is irrelevant, what are the optimal choices of optical SFP transceiver and optical fiber patch cable to connect a Kasli or Kasli SoC master to its satellites? Are the optimal choices the same for Kasli SoC v1.1 and Kasli v2.0?

In other words: Will 10 Gbit/s components work with the SFP ports in the Kasli SoC v1.1 and in the Kasli v2.0?

Please, I couldn't find the info anywhere.

Yes. You can use BiDi ones (e.g. 1270nm/1330nm SM) so you have only one fiber. Common 850nm MM with two fibers probably works but not tried.
Just buy them from fs.com (select the "generic" option); unlike scientific laser garbage, telecom optics are cheap and performant and there is definitely no need to spend a lot on this.

sb10q Hi Sebastien, do the core devices run performance tests on the SFP(+) hardware and then silently discard slow DRTIO links? I tried 6 different sets of fibers / cables / transceivers before it worked and it took me a day to even realize that this is the problem: Bug report: DRTIO links fail silently; please add log messages! #2681

I think I know now which SFP+ hardware is best: active optical cables without optical connectors, such as FS 10G SFP+ Active Optical Cable. Without optical connectors, there is nothing to get dirty or damaged or misaligned.

No. Please read the source code.
